What truly drives me is the opportunity to make a real difference for industries and the people working in them. Through robotics and automation, we can help customers increase productivity, improve quality and — most importantly — create safer and better working environments for operators.
My journey into robotics began with a background in software engineering, starting in ABB’s trainee program in 1999. From the very beginning, I was driven by a deep curiosity about how software and control systems can improve real industrial operations and create tangible value.
I started my career as a software developer working with control systems in the process industry — an environment traditionally dominated by men, but one that offered endless opportunities to learn and create impact.
After nearly ten years in software development, I moved closer to the customer and user side of the business. Still working within software and automation, I focused on understanding operational needs and translating those insights into solutions that could make customers more efficient while also improving the working environment. This experience fundamentally shaped my leadership philosophy: technology only creates value when it solves real problems for people.

For me, robotics is the physical expression of software. What continues to inspire me is seeing digital intelligence come to life in ways that improve productivity, strengthen competitiveness and make industrial jobs safer and more sustainable.
In mid-2010, I took on my first leadership role at Bombardier, where I was responsible for control systems for trains. This was a formative step in my career, combining advanced technology, safety-critical environments and leadership responsibility.
Since 2017, I have been fully focused on robotics within ABB Robotics, working on the market and commercial side of the business. My commercial approach is strongly shaped by my technical background: I do not see sales as promoting products, but as understanding real customer challenges and matching them with the right combination of robotics, software and automation solutions to create measurable value.
Today, I serve as Cluster Manager for the Nordic countries, where I drive growth and customer value across Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
A key focus in my work has been expanding the robotics ecosystem beyond large end customers — particularly by supporting system integrators and automation partners. I strongly believe the future growth of robotics depends on enabling more players to succeed. By helping partners build competence, scale their offerings and capture new opportunities, we can accelerate automation across new industries and segments.
I am equally passionate about inspiring more young women to study and work within technology. This is one of the most exciting industries in the world, and we need more diverse perspectives to shape its future. Throughout my career, I have tried to be visible and accessible, especially to younger women considering technical paths.
My message is simple: you do not need to fit a specific mold to succeed in robotics. Curiosity, courage and willingness to learn will take you far.
Looking ahead, I am convinced robotics will play an even more critical role in shaping the future of industry. I am proud to be part of that journey — and excited to continue helping customers, partners and teams unlock the full potential of automation.
