One of 11 Women Shaping the Future of Robotics in 2026

“Where many saw chaos, I saw responsibility.”

Early Foundations in Clinical Practice and Education

My robotics career began in Richmond, Virginia, after completing my M.S. in Occupational Therapy at VCU. Working in neurological rehabilitation across Sheltering Arms, HealthSouth, and HCA grounded me in the realities of patient care and the constraints clinicians face daily.

Alongside clinical practice, I served as adjunct faculty in VCU’s School of Allied Health, teaching evaluation and objective measurement. That work deepened my commitment to evidence based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and developing clinicians who are adaptable, empathetic, and curious. I later continued this work through advisory board service with South University.

These early foundations continue to inform my leadership approach—pairing clinical empathy with operational discipline and a commitment to elevating people at every level of the ecosystem.

Entering MedTech and Rehabilitation Robotics

I entered medical devices and rehabilitation technology in 2013 by joining Bioness Medical. Beginning as a Clinical Specialist and progressing into Business Development and Director of Sales roles, I helped integrate neuromodulation and robotic rehabilitation technologies across North America. During this time, I supported clinicians in adopting advanced rehab solutions and contributed to commercial initiatives that drove measurable performance, setting the first record for over one million in annual direct-to-consumer sales in wearable FES technologies for a relatively small geography.

Over the next decade, I focused on architecting commercial frameworks, supporting high performing teams, and guiding health systems implementing intelligent rehabilitation technologies. In 2024, I was recruited to DIH, a global leader in rehabilitation robotics, ultimately serving as Commercial Vice President for both North America and the Asia Pacific region. Amidst the chaos that was DIH, I developed and supported partnerships that improved access to robotic therapy for thousands of patients worldwide, many relationships that have been carried forward to today.

Building a Stabilizing Force in Global Robotics

In late 2025, DIH experienced a collapse due to fiduciary mismanagement at the highest level, resulting in NASDAQ delisting, that abruptly left hospitals, clinicians, and patients without support for critical rehabilitation robotics. At a moment when the industry felt unstable, I felt a responsibility to step forward.

This led me to found HealthTech Partners Global (HPG), a firm dedicated to sustaining continuity of care through commercial consulting, robotic service, and clinical education solutions. Our mission is focused and measurable:

  • Ensure patients continue receiving essential robotic therapies
  • Restore stability for partners navigating uncertainty
  • Build a sustainable, ethical, service driven model that protects patient access

Launching a company under these conditions required decisive leadership, disciplined resource management, and rapid operational design. Within the first eight weeks, HPG established a service network covering North America and Asia Pacific regions, established a customer base of over thirty healthcare centers, and supported clinical integration of rehabilitation robotics worldwide, serving customers regardless of time zone or continent.

Leadership Perspective

Across every role, my purpose has remained consistent: empowering people. I’m especially driven by opportunities to expand global access to rehabilitation technologies and lead an organization anchored in resilience, integrity, and collaboration.

My leadership style is defined by clinical empathy, strategic clarity, and supporting cross functional alignment—mobilizing teams through both disruption and recovery. Whether stabilizing global robotic operations, building commercial engines, or responding to industry wide crises, I lead with a future focused perspective grounded in ethical delivery of service and results.

Outside of my professional work, I’m a mother to two thriving young men who share my love of leadership, STEM, and hands on learning. Staying engaged in building community—both locally and across global networks shaping the future of robotic rehabilitation—keeps me inspired and always moving forward.
