Towards a society where people and robots coexist

Japan Robot Week was first held in 2012. It has been held every other year, now for the 7th time. In addition to manufacturing and service industry robots, the focus is on collaborative robots and system integrators. In recent has continued to expand in response to robot-related needs to become a place where it’s easy to have active business discussions and exchange technologies.

The theme is “Towards a society where people and robots coexist.” Keeping in mind the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Economy’s mission of building robot-friendly environments, it will be an innovative space that respond to expectations both inside and outside the industry with the aim of further social implementation.

The online exhibition will be held from September 11 – 27, 2024.

Conference on Robots and Automation

The third conference on the economic impact of robots and automation will take place ­on September 23th and 24th 2024, at ­­Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in cooperation with the International Federation of Robotics (IFR). This conference aims to establish a platform for all economists working in the rapidly growing fields of robots, automation, and artificial intelligence. We also wish to provide a forum for discussion between data users and the main data provider in this field.

A keynote speech will be held by Guy Michaels (London School of Economics).
