Towards a society where people and robots coexist
Japan Robot Week was first held in 2012. It has been held every other year, now for the 7th time. In addition to manufacturing and service industry robots, the focus is on collaborative robots and system integrators. In recent has continued to expand in response to robot-related needs to become a place where it’s easy to have active business discussions and exchange technologies.
The theme is “Towards a society where people and robots coexist.” Keeping in mind the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Economy’s mission of building robot-friendly environments, it will be an innovative space that respond to expectations both inside and outside the industry with the aim of further social implementation.
The online exhibition will be held from September 11 – 27, 2024.

Conference on Robots and Automation
The third conference on the economic impact of robots and automation will take place on September 23th and 24th 2024, at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in cooperation with the International Federation of Robotics (IFR). This conference aims to establish a platform for all economists working in the rapidly growing fields of robots, automation, and artificial intelligence. We also wish to provide a forum for discussion between data users and the main data provider in this field.
A keynote speech will be held by Guy Michaels (London School of Economics).

The large number of applications on show will attract operators from all the main production sectors, including mechanics, automotive, logistics, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, electronics, biomedics.
The protagonists of this exhibition area are manufacturers, integrators, universities, research centres and start-ups.
trade fair for smart automation and robotics
Apart from production-optimizing solutions and products, the trade fair for smart automation and robotics also showcases all visionary key technologies in a single location.
Challenges, opportunities, risks: In times of great upheaval, automatica provides valuable impetus for the future of automated production. The international trade fair for smart automation and robotics brings all visionary key technologies together in one place. This makes it a meeting point for constructive and visionary cross-sectoral exchange between industrial, research and political representatives. And there is more: It offers an overview of global developments, topics, innovations, and solutions, thus providing the necessary orientation and investment security in these times of upheaval. So that the vision of gradual advancement from automated to autonomous production may become reality – providing an opportunity to grow for you and your company.
